After starring in season 3 of The White Lotus, Aimee Lou Wood is likely not gonna be watching season 4
"I don't know if I'll be able to watch the next series," the actress said on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes
Little is known about season 4, other than that Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka will star
It's hard to go from a star of The White Lotus to an audience member.
Aimee Lou Wood, who played Chelsea in season 3 of Mike White's hit anthology series, revealed that she won't be tuning in to the upcoming fourth season of the show.
"I don't know if I'll be able to watch the next series," Wood, 31, said on the Variety Golden Globes Red Carpet Pre-Show.
Wood said it would be "too sad" to watch the show after being part of it, adding, "It's too weird and sad."
The British actress is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role on Television at the 2026 Golden Globes for her role in season 3, and is up against two of her costars in the category: Parker Posey and Carrie Coon.

While Wood might not be tuning in to season 4 — which will take place in France — she is interested in revisiting her character from the series.
"While we were filming, Walton and I were like, 'Can we go back and see how Rick and Chelsea met and all of that?'" she told the outlet, referring to her and Walton Goggins' characters, who were a couple onscreen. "There must be a way."
Goggins is not the only one of her costars she's thinking about, though.
"I also thought, if Saxon came back, then she could be his conscience," Wood said of Patrick Schwarzenegger's character. "It could be like she's haunting him and then she could be there."

Few details have been released about season 4 of The White Lotus, other than confirmation that it will take place in France — and the announcement of the first two stars joining the ensemble.
Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka have both been cast in season 4, and they both expressed their excitement about the upcoming season in Instagram posts after the news came out.
"Checking in! 🛎️ Let’s party Mike 🪷," Michalka wrote on Instagram.
Ludwig said he was "beyond honored" to be cast as he wrote, "Huge thank you to Mike for your trust in me and can’t wait to bring this unbelievable material to life. ❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌."
