Amy Schumer shared several photos of herself wearing swimwear in an Instagram post on Sunday, Jan. 4

The actress explained that the majority of snaps were taken by her mom ahead of a trip and the last image was taken on the getaway

"This year is about self care and self love," she captioned the photos, showing herself without any makeup or filters

Amy Schumer is embracing her new chapter.

On Sunday, Jan. 4, the actress, 44, shared a collection of makeup-free photos on Instagram that were taken before and during a recent getaway. Among the snaps were images of her modeling bikinis and other swimwear from the brand Eres Paris and dresses from The Row.

“My mom took these photos of me while I was packing for a trip,” Schumer captioned the post. “And the last photo I’m on the trip. This year is about self-care and self-love.”

The actress added that she wasn’t wearing any makeup when the photos were taken and chose to post them without any filters.

Having tagged both of the clothing brands she was wearing, Schumer then shared a personal goal that she wants her 12.6 million Instagram followers to join her in pursuing.

“Let’s all appreciate our health, our families, our friends, and have the best year of our lives,” she wrote. “Moving forward with no regrets. Just love." The star then added a series of hashtags, including "#perimenopause @midihealth and #csection.”

The I Feel Pretty star has been relatively active on social media since she confirmed her split from Chris Fischer in a since-deleted Instagram post on Dec. 12.

“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she wrote, appearing to parody celebrity split announcements with her message. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son.”

The couple welcomed their son Gene in May 2019.

She continued, “We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time. blah blah blah not becisse I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag s basket and not because he’s a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever [sic]."

On New Year’s Eve, Schumer joked about her newly single status on her Instagram Stories while crossing her eyes and making a funny face while holding spaghetti.

“Who’s kissing this at midnight?” she captioned the image.

The post came after Schumer spoke candidly about overhauling her appearance after receiving “questions” about her weight loss journey.

In a Dec. 1 Instagram post, she confirmed she'd lost 50 lbs. "Not to look hot, which does feel fun and temporary," but, she explained, "to survive."

"I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy that can kill you, but the internet caught it, and the disease has cleared," she wrote, seemingly in reference to her Cushing syndrome diagnosis.Cushing syndrome is a condition where the body has too much cortisol (the primary stress hormone), per Mayo Clinic. Symptoms can include weight gain, high blood pressure and acne.

"Sorry for whatever feeling it's giving you that I lost that weight," Schumer — who has also previously confirmed that she uses weight loss jab Mounjaro — said.
