Andy Cohen went on a drunken rant about outgoing New York City mayor Eric Adams on New Year's Eve 2025, much like he did four years prior as Bill de Blasio left office -

This comes four years after Cohen went on a similar rant about former mayor Bill de Blasio as he was leaving office in 2021

Andy Cohen has some choice words for former New York City mayor Eric Adams.

The Bravo star, 57, bemoaned what he described as Adams’ “chaotic” and “horrible” stint as mayor in another apparently drunken rant during CNN’s coverage of New Year’s Eve 2025 in New York City.

In the clip, shared by The New York Post, Cohen held up a shot glass alongside his co-host Anderson Cooper and actor B.J. Novak as he began to lay into the ex-N.Y.C. mayor just moments after his term ended.

“Oh no,” Cooper, 58, laughed awkwardly as Cohen spoke about “watching the final moments of Mayor Adams’ chaotic, horrible” term shortly after midnight on Thursday, Jan. 1.

Novak then jumped in with, “Oh are we going on a de Blasio style [rant]!” But Cohen persisted.

“I mean, he got his pardons,” Cohen continued before Novak jumped in with, “Andy! Andy! We’ve got to cut you off!”

Still, Cohen carried on. “I’m just saying, great. You got your pardons,” the host said to the camera. “Go off into the sunset. We’ll fiddle with what we have, with what you’ve left us with.”

But the Watch What Happens Live host did not stop there, despite Cooper’s attempts to diffuse the situation. Meanwhile, Novak suggested that Cohen simply “can’t help himself.”

“You pardoned your way through four years, and all the clubs, we’ll see you there,” Cohen continued, per the Post. “I just want to say, goodbye, Mayor Adams, you did it, you did it, you did it, didn’t you?”

Throughout the day on Wednesday, Dec. 31, Cohen made several jokes on social media about drinking, including a post on X that indicated he planned to consume tequila that evening.

In another post on X, Cohen wrote "We. Are. Drinking." in response to a fan who asked if the Bravo host would be drinking on-air with Cooper that evening.

Later in the evening, Cohen shared an image on his Instagram Story of himself with a drink in hand while dancing just moments after midnight.

The next day, Cohen said he had "a ball" on the show and suggested "we were a tad overserved (by me)" in an Instagram post reflecting on the night prior.

Cohen shared a similar post on Instagram in January 2022 after he went on a rant about former N.Y.C. mayor Bill de Blasio on the New Year's Eve show at the end of 2021.

"Watching Mayor de Blasio do his victory lap dance after four years of the crappiest term as the mayor of New York [City]," said Cohen, as Cooper attempted to de-escalate his friend's diatribe.

But Cohen continued, adding, "The only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been. So, sayonara, sucka!”

A few moments later, Cohen delivered another jab. “2022! It's a new year! 'Cause guess what? I have a feeling I'm going to be standing right here next year, and you know who I'm not going to be looking at dancing as the city comes apart? You!”

Cohen later claimed he was overserved in a post on Instagram featuring several photos of him and Cooper standing side-by-side in Times Square. “But man did I have fun!” the Bravo executive said in his caption.
