Benito Skinner and Mary Beth Barone went wild for their first Halloween costume of the season.
On Tuesday, Oct. 28, the Overcompensating costars posted photos to reveal their shockingly hyperrealistic Zootopia costumes. Skinner, 31, turned himself into cartoon fox Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) and Barone, 33, became the bright blue rabbit Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin).
Their individual Instagram posts featured a number of professional photos that captured their homage to the 2016 animated flick in various spots around a New York City subway station. They can also be seen wearing their full costumes — prosthetics included — on an upcoming episode of their podcast, Ride, in clips shared by both co-hosts.

Skinner also gave his TikTok followers a full 360° view of their Zootopia costumes with a video of them dancing in Times Square as a camera circled them. He set it to "Try Everything," Shakira's original single recorded for the Disney movie.
"Can we say something ? Try everything :)" Skinner captioned the clip. Their elaborate ensembles come just one month before the sequel, Zootopia 2, is set to release in the United States on Nov. 26, 2025.
Last week, the actor took to the Ride podcast to share some emotional, personal news with fans. During the Oct. 22 episode, he announced that he and his longtime boyfriend Terrence O’Connor had broken up after nine years of dating, noting that their split was “amicable.”
“We both just love each other so much and have so much love and respect for each other, and we treated each other with love and respect until the end," he explained.
Later in the episode, Skinner shared that he and O'Connor, who have gone all-out with elaborate Halloween costumes over the years, joked about possibly dressing up as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who also recently split this summer after 19 years of marriage. PEOPLE confirmed their breakup on Sept. 29.
"We're not going to do that out of respect to both of those beautiful and long relationships," Skinner added in conversation with Barone.
