Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark clashed with one of her former teammates during Thursday's elimination game against the Las Vegas Aces and received an early technical, putting her at risk of ejection.
Clark was seen pushing Aces center Brianna Turner as she attempted to join the Fever's huddle, leading to an official review by WNBA officials. It was a tense first-quarter moment, which followed a heated Game 2 as A'ja Wilson clashed with a Fever fan and unloaded in her postgame press conference.
During the game, which saw the Fever extend the first-round WNBA Playoff series, Clark also received a technical foul and was later forced to apologize for vomiting at halftime. There was no sickness at the start of Game 3, though Clark did get physical with Turner.

The first quarter was halted with 6:54 remaining, as Clark and Turner clashed during a Fever huddle. Indiana led 12-6 at the time, and Turner appeared to be trying to gain information, or at least disrupt the Fever's discussion.
Turner's plan worked, as Clark was seen shoving her former teammate, who staggered backward dramatically. The WNBA officials decided to hand out technical fouls to both players, meaning neither team was awarded free throws.
Clark has been more physical in the WNBA this year and picked up seven technical fouls during the regular season. Clark was one tech away from a one-game suspension, but managed to stay disciplined until the playoffs.
However, the early tech put her and Turner on thin ice, as another technical foul would result in a game ejection. With the WNBA Playoffs on the line, that would be damning, especially for Clark and the Fever.
The Aces won Game 1 at home in the first-round series, but the Fever managed to force a decisive Game 3 after winning at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday. While Game 1 was fairly routine, Game 2 was anything but.
