Controversial *Sex and the City* actor Chris Noth — who was accused of (and denied) sexual assault in 2021 — has endorsed a fan's Instagram comment slamming Sarah Jessica Parker's recent awards success.

Amid the actress receiving the 2026 Carol Burnett Award during the Golden Globes' special *Golden Eve* televised ceremony, a commenter acknowledged the moment in a response to a photo Noth shared over the weekend to his Instagram.

"F&@k new years - LETS GO!!!!" the 71-year-old wrote in the caption of the image, which showed him working out with some weights. A fan replied, "You mean f--- sjp & her award right? lol" in reference to Parker's *Golden Eve* accolade, which she accepted on stage during the pre-taped Jan. 8 show.

Noth responded to the fan's comment from his verified account, writing simply, "Right" under the text.

The same fan again commented under Noth's reply, telling the actor, "I get it, you deserved better & I see how callous she is <3 you deserved better."

In December 2021, Noth was first accused of sexual assault by two women, who made the allegations anonymously. They alleged that the reported assault happened in 2004 and 2015 in Los Angeles and New York. At the time, Noth denied the allegations and called them "categorically false."**

A third woman came forward to accuse Noth of assault at her workplace in 2010, while she worked as a hostess in New York City. Lisa Gentile, a musician, detailed an alleged 2002 encounter with Noth, claiming that the star sexually and verbally assaulted her at the time.

Noth again denied the allegations, though he was eventually fired from *The Equalizer* TV project in the aftermath. Additionally, his ex-*Sex and the City* colleagues — including Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis — joined together to issue a statement about the allegations.

The statement included the stars saying that they "support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it."

Later, in 2023, Noth said his only offense was being unfaithful to his wife, Tara Wilson. "I'm not going to lay down and just say it's over... It's a salacious story, but it's just not a true one. And I can't just say 'Well, OK, that's it for me' because of that. I'm an actor. I have other things that I want to do creatively. And I have children to support. I can't just rest on my laurels," the actor said in a *USA Today *interview*.*

Noth has not been formally charged or sued in connection with the allegations.
