Dua Lipa is here to prove that summerlayering can be just as great as a winter alternative. In her latest Instagram dump, the “Training Season” artist posed in a five-piece ensemble that, despite all the leather, lace, and denim, somehow still felt season-appropriate in the heat.
For a base layer, Lipa wore a thin white rib-knit tank top over a contrasting black bralette with a little pair of jean shorts. Building on the classic start, she added a billowing semi-sheer blouse with floral lace detailing, bringing in a patterned accent to the otherwise solid-colored pieces. The lightweight Ann Demeulemeester long sleeve was cinched at the wrists with delicate ruffles, and was left open for the hot temperatures. Finally, the singer gave things a bold, rockstar-worthy edge with a black leather vest that almost camouflaged into the button-down underneath. This, too, was left open.

When it came to jewelry, Lipa kept things minimal, wearing nothing but a couple of diamond hoop earrings, her engagement ring, and her wedding band. As for her shoes and accessories, she selected a black western-inspired Celine belt with silver hardware and her go-to tall black boots. She slicked her hair back and, in one swipe, snapped a mirror selfie with her metallic polka-dot nails.
Elsewhere in the dump, she got her manicure covered in clay, showing off a new pottery hobby. While wearing a chunky sunflower necklace and white knit top, the star worked at the wheel, perfecting her craft and having a little plate bowl to show for it.
