Former Bond Girl and ‘Sex and the City’ Star, 68, Is Aging Like a Fine Wine on the Red Carpet in Paris

Former Bond girl Carole Bouquet is a French beauty who is simply getting better with age.
The model and actress, 68, is best known for her role as Melina Havelock opposite Roger Moore as James Bond in 1981’s For Your Eyes Only. Bouquet then went on to become the face of Chanel No. 5, a coveted role desired by women around the world. So when the classic beauty hit the red carpet to attend the premiere of La Maison Des Femmes this week in Paris, we were delighted to see her looking better than ever.

Back in January, the beauty let her hair down and sported a classic red lip for another appearance. Now that's aging like a fine wine!

Filming For Your Eyes Only sounded like quite an interesting experience for the cast. Bouquet played Melina, the daughter of marine archaeologists who are murdered while tracking down the Automatic Targeting Attack Communicator (ATAC) system used by the Ministry of Defense. Actor Jack Klaff, who played the villain Apostis, told Yahoo Entertainment back in 2021 that working with Roger Moore was a wild experience.
“Roger was very unassuming, but he knew his place; he knew that he was the star,” Klaff shared. “When we were on Corfu, he would arrive each morning in his own boat with a cigar and always say, ‘Never fear, The Saint is here.’ Roger told an awful lot of really, really filthy jokes. His twinkle was Olympic class.”

Her Sex and the City Appearance
Bouquet’s acting career is still thriving these days. She left a strong impression with a cameo on Sex and the City as the ex-wife of Mikhail Baryshnikov‘s character, Aleksandr Petrovsky, in season six. Who could forget her offering Sarah Jessica Parker‘s Carrie Bradshaw a cigarette as they sit in a Paris restaurant chatting about her ex? (“I thought you might be one of those Americans who didn’t smoke. And I would be… how do you say… Guilty of killing you over lunch?”) However, she’s had endless roles throughout the years, appearing in everything from In Therapy to Apple TV+’s recent French-language series, La Maison.
