Fox Sports commentator Charissa Thompson details attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘magical’ wedding

Calm Down cohosts Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews detailed Taylor Swift’s “magical” wedding day.

“When you find your person, everything else in the world is right,” gushed Thompson.

Andrews added that she had such a great time, “I want to relive it again.”

Taylor Swift’s wedding day sounds like it was indeed a fairytale.

Fox Sports commentator Charissa Thompson detailed the “magical” event on the latest episode of her podcast, Calm Down, with cohost Erin Andrews, who also attended the $30 million star-studded affair at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.

“It was magical, it was all the things,” gushed Thompson, adding that she wanted to be careful about saying “too much” about her famous friends’ special day. “I will just leave it at this. It was magical.”

And it was also a “reminder” about love and finding a soulmate, added Thompson, who divorced her second husband, sports agent Kyle Thousand, in 2022 after one year of marriage.

“Maybe there’s some subliminal part of seeing them get married that makes me want to have a version adjacent to marriage and the commitment ceremony because, watching them get married, I’m like, when you find your person, everything else in the world is right,” she explained. “And that to me, that night and that weekend really was a reminder that you can have everything in the world, and if you don’t have the person to share it with, then it’s not worth anything.”

Andrews agreed with the word “magical” to describe Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding — in fact, the NFL on Fox sideline reporter captioned both of her Instagram posts from the weekend event with “magic” (as well as the sparkles emoji of three golden stars).

“Everyone has been asking, ‘So how was it?’ And you’re like, magical,” said Andrews. “People are like, ‘I know, but…’ It was magical.”

And that’s why she’s especially “protective of our gal” against the “weirdos” who leaked stories online “about things that didn’t happen” at the wedding.

“I was a little worried about my Sancerre intake and that I was going to fire back on the old replies,” admitted Andrews. “I didn’t… I had a great time.”

Both of the sports reporters were grateful to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his bride for “getting everybody together” from the worlds of football and entertainment.

“It was so fun to see all of our friends in the same place,” said Andrews, whose date was her husband, retired NHL champion Jarret Stoll. “I was so excited to meet people in both of their lives that we’ve heard about and we haven’t met before… Everybody was just so lovely and fun.”

In fact, she would like the newlyweds to say “I do” a second time. “I had such a great time,” enthused Andrews. “I want to relive it again.”
