Mindy Kaling gave us high school romance —and teenage rage — with Never Have I Ever. She took us to basement frat parties (and occasionally naked ones!) with The Sex Lives of College Girls. And now, she's moving things to New York City, where being a young adult is both the most exciting and the scariest thing in the entire world. (Okay, so that doesn't just pertain to New York, but that is the most extreme version of it.)

In her new Hulu series, Not Suitable for Work (premiering June 2), Kaling introduces viewers to a handful of twentysomethings in various stages of the whole "figuring out life" thing, and Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive first look at the comedy.

"We love coming-of-age stories because the stakes are so high," Kaling tells EW. "Will the girl across the hall like you back? Will your co-worker think you’re not a complete idiot? Will your boss say good job? These things feel like life or death when you’re young and in them. And you’re either in them right now or you remember so viscerally how it felt to be in your twenties —to have every idea who you are and no idea at the same time. I wanted to make a show about that feeling, in the city that represents it for so many people: Boston, Mass. No just kidding, it’s New York."

To be specific, the show takes place in the Murray Hill neighborhood, a fact that's sure to mean something only to people who live in New York.

As for the cast, Ella Hunt plays A.J. Pascarelli, who's described as "a charming but intense first-year analyst at the most prestigious investment bank in New York." A.J.'s best friend, Abhinaya “Abby” Chilukuri (played by Avantika), is a "fashion-obsessed, savvy assistant to a demanding celebrity stylist."

Back in the finance world, A.J. is joined by Davis Beau Bradley Barrett III (played by Will Angus), who's "a high-energy finance bro, but underneath his fratty exterior, Davis just wants to love and be loved."

Davis lives with his besties, Josh Teitelbaum (Jack Martin) and Kel Washington (Nicholas Duvernay). Josh is "a smart, idealistic, and occasionally sanctimonious New Yorker (born and raised, he’s the first to tell you)," while Kel is "a charming, slightly anxious medical student struggling to ace his exams while plotting his big break as an actor."

Insecure's Jay Ellis plays Bill Gibson, "a charismatic, successful investment banker that is admired for being his firm's highest earning managing director."

Another prominent (and very successful) adult figure? Alias alum Victor Garber plays Wes Dryden, who hosts a "prestigious investigative journalism show."

The incredible casting continues with SNL alum Ego Nwodim playing Kate Woodson, the assistant head of school at an all-girls private school in Manhattan, and Constance Wu playing Vanessa Hsu, an "intense and demanding celebrity stylist" who factors into Abby's orbit.
