There's no one like Harrison Ford — just ask Ryan Gosling.

The *Project Hail Mary** *actor appeared on the *New Heights* podcast on Wednesday and shared some interesting anecdotes about his *Blade Runner 2049** *costar.

After host Jason Kelce asked Gosling about Ford's recent admission that he has sex to his own movie soundtracks, the *Barbie* star said that he's not the least bit surprised.

"Of course Harrison has [done that]," Gosling told listeners, admitting that he himself does not get intimate while listening to film scores. "I always say, like, 'Never meet your heroes unless they're Harrison Ford.' He's as cool as you want him to be."

Gosling went on to detail a time on the *Blade Runner 2049 *set when Ford "housed like 15" Advil after punching his costar in the face.

"He punched me one time in a scene and then when they brought me ice for my face, he took the ice away, he put his fist in it, and he said, 'I forgive you,'" Gosling explained. "And then they brought me Advil. I went to take two Advil and he took the whole thing, and he housed like 15 of them."

"You can't do that," podcast cohost Travis Kelce quipped.

"He's not like us," Gosling replied. "He could just house half a bottle of Advil as a joke."

Gosling also shared the story of Ford choosing an unorthodox method to keep his signature Indiana Jones fedora from flying off during production of *Raiders of the Lost Ark*.

"He's riding. His hat kept coming off. He's riding the horse. He stapled it to his head," Gosling recalled. "They were trying to tape it and he said, 'Forget it. Give me a stapler.' And he stapled it to his head."

The story is true, as Ford confirmed the decision to pin the hat to his head, and showed off a scar to prove it, in a 2023 *GQ* interview while promoting *Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny*.

"You do what you need to do," he told the outlet.

When Jason asked Gosling if it's well-known that Ford is a "just a lunatic," the actor reiterated, "He's not like us. He's that guy."

Gosling added, "That line [in *Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back*] where Princess Leia [Carrie Fisher] says 'I love you.' And he [Han Solo] goes, 'I know'? That's him. That's *him*. He's the real deal."

Ford is also a big fan of Gosling's and the men seemingly had a grand old time together on their *Blade Runner 2049 *press tour in 2017.

Gosling told ** that year that "the best part" of acting opposite Ford is "that you hang out with him and you realize that all those iconic moments from his films that you love are his."
