Heather Locklear may be a famous actress, but her favorite role is a proud mom.
The blonde beauty, who rose to stardom as Sammie Jo Carrington on Dynasty and the wild Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place, is back in action on the popular What Do You Want? podcast with her friendsJillian Barberieand Nurse Mel from the wellness company Twelve28. But the actress, whose romantic relationships have included Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, and fellow Melrose Place alum Jack Wagner, counts being a mother as the most important thing she does. That's why we were so thrilled to see Locklear looking better than ever this weekend at the bridal shower of her and Sambora's daughter, Ava Sambora.
Dressed in chic sundresses alongside a friend, Locklear and Sambora smiled brightly for the camera at the joyous occasion. With blue eyes and blonde hair, it's safe to say that the apple didn't fall far from the tree!

Ava is Working Toward Her Doctorate
Back in June, PEOPLE shared that Ava graduated from the USC Rossier School of Education in May 2023 with a Master’s in family therapy, and was recently accepted to Pepperdine University, where she will begin working toward her doctorate in the fall.

Locklear has expressed how proud she is of her daughter, sharing a photo from her graduation with a caption that read, “Such a proud mama. Congratulations my baby, with your masters in MFT. With your hard work and perseverance and kind heart.”
Locklear is Hoping to Find Love Again
During an episode of her podcast, Locklear was asked about her holiday wish for the season and shared a touching message that included wishes for health and happiness for her mother, daughter, and friends. But she also spoke about her optimistic perspective on finding love again after her two divorces.
“I pray about my family every night, and my mom especially, and my daughter being happy, and especially my dog staying alive,” Locklear shared. “But honestly, what I want is for God to direct me towards who I’m supposed to be with, because I can’t always make good decisions, and, um, that’s my immediate one.”
