Celebs like Natasha Lyonne, Lily Tomlin, and Julia Roberts shared their well wishes for the milestone.

Field celebrated with “a lot” of wine.

Sally Field celebrated her 80th birthday with a cozy meal at home.

The Remarkably Bright Creatures actress shared a post commemorating her latest milestone on Friday. She gave a glimpse into the festivities, showing off a bowl of salad on her counter as she held a glass and a bottle of wine.

“So far, 80 feels like 79…but with a lot more wine,” she captioned her post.

In her comment section, celebrities took a moment to send their well wishes to the Steel Magnolias star, including Andy Cohen, Natasha Lyonne, and Lily Tomlin.

While Lyonne and Tomlin kept it simple with a few fire emojis and heart emojis, respectively, Cohen had a few more words for the birthday girl, saying, “Happy birthday to the best neighbor I ever had.”

Meanwhile, Fields’ Steel Magnolias onscreen daughter Julia Roberts posted a tribute to her own Instagram, uploading a picture of the two of them competing in a “curse-off” on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2014.

“Happy Birthday to the shining light @sallyfield,” Roberts wrote in her caption. “A beautiful human and unbeatable potty mouth! I love you.”

Sam Greisman, Fields’ son, also made a post honoring his mother’s latest birthday, sharing a throwback photo of the two of them on a red carpet when he was a child.

“Happy 80th birthday mom! Thanks for supporting gay rights by always taking me to my favorite award shows!” he captioned the pic.

And as she steps into this new decade of her life, she can officially put those 80 for Brady jokes to bed. When starring in the 2023 film, she was famously in her 70s, a fact that she incorporated into her character Betty’s schticks. At one point, she even crosses out the “80” on her jersey and replaces it with a “70” in tape.

“That was my idea,” she previously told Entertainment Weekly. “I came in saying, ‘Uh, wait, hold on. I’m not 80.’ I’m going to be proud to be 80. But I’m not there yet.”
