The Philadelphia Eagles are adding an experienced wide receiver to their roster in NFL free agency.
The Eagles have agreed to a one-year deal with Hollywood Brown, according to multiple reports. Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz was the first to report the signing. The 28-year-old's deal will be worth up to $6.5 million.
Philadelphia will be Brown's fourth different team since entering the NFL as a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Oklahoma product quickly blossomed into a starter with the Baltimore Ravens and a top target for Lamar Jackson but has struggled to stay healthy in recent seasons.
Brown's lone 1,000-yard season came in 2021, when he generated 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns. Since then, he has played in 44 games across four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.
Last season, Brown posted 49 catches for 587 yards and five touchdowns with the Chiefs. He ranked second on the team in receiving yards behind only Travis Kelce despite playing under 50% of Kansas City's offensive snaps.
The Eagles will be hoping Brown can post similar production as their No. 3 receiver while providing much-needed depth to their receiving corps.

Brown signed a one-year contract to join the Eagles in free agency. The full details of the deal are not yet available, but he is expected to make up to $6.5 million as part of the agreement.
Hollywood Brown stats
Brown has just one, 1,000-yard season to his name, but the 5-9, 180-pound receiver has been productive when able to stay on the field during his career. Below is a full look at his stats across his seven professional seasons.

Games: 90
Targets: 614
Receptions: 371
Receiving yards: 4,322
Receiving TDs: 33
Yards per reception: 11.6
Brown graded as Pro Football Focus' 51st receiver out of 128 qualifiers in 2025 and had a passer rating of 104.3 when targeted.
How does Hollywood Brown fit with the Eagles?
The Eagles have long been searching for a No. 3 receiver for their offense behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Hollywood Brown will provide that as a replacement for the outgoing Jahan Dotson, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons in free agency.
Philadelphia acquired Dotson from the Washington Commanders ahead of the 2024 NFL season. The Eagles were hoping the 2022 first-round pick could break out in a new setting, but Dotson totaled just 37 catches for 478 yards and a touchdown across his two seasons with the team.
Brown has been more consistently productive throughout his career than Dotson. Provided he can stay healthy, Philadelphia will have one of the best receiving cores in the NFL, with their trio of wide-outs and veteran tight end Dallas Goedert.

Of course, Brown also provides veteran insurance in case the Eagles eventually trade away A.J. Brown, who has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the NFL offseason.
Philadelphia will likely have to wait until after June 1 to trade A.J. Brown, as doing so before that date would force the team to absorb a massive dead-cap hit for the 2026 NFL season.
But if the Eagles do eventually pull the trigger on such a deal, Hollywood Brown would likely rise to the No. 2 role on Philadelphia's wide receiver depth chart – unless the team spends an early pick on a receiver during the 2026 NFL Draft.
