Police have shared new details about the death of influencer Hilde Lynn Helphenstein.
The 40-year-old content creator and art commentator — who was known on social media as "Jerry Gagosian" — was found dead in her São Paulo hotel room on May 31, reported Brazilian news outlet g1.
Citing a police report, g1 reported that a man claiming to be Helphenstein's plastic surgeon had called the management of Rosewood São Paulo — the luxury hotel where Helphenstein was staying — after he was unable to reach her, informing them that she had been in Brazil for roughly three weeks to undergo a cosmetic procedure. Hotel staff then found Helphenstein unconscious in her room, per g1, and called emergency services, who pronounced her dead at the scene.
g1 also reported, citing a police report, that the hotel had registered a formal complaint against Helphenstein and her friends at a hotel restaurant, alleging that they had engaged in "intimate displays in public that escalated into a situation of partial body exposure, causing embarrassment to the other guests."

She shared her final post, a video of her talking to the camera, on May 29. In the clip, she shared a "recommendation" for her viewers, urging them to "let the rich woman inside of you fly."
"I think it's healthy. So what I encourage you to do is just hire a makeup artist, get your hair done, get yourself a beautiful shawl, preferably something cashmere or woven in Peru, something nice," she continued in the clip. "Wear it on your shoulders, and make up things that you're worried about."
