Name, image and likeness (NIL) has changed the playing field in college football.
At the collegiate level, we have seen athletes have the ability to cash in on their brands to make money, without having to turn professional or lose eligibility. Slowly but surely, opportunities for high school athletes are building.
While NIL has reached most states for high school, there are a few holdouts that have not passed laws to prohibit it, but could soon with the changing landscape.
What are the current regulations regarding name, image and likeness in your state? Here is the current rundown of NIL guidelines for all 50 states plus Washington, D.C., as of June 30:
