Jimmy Kimmel left his audience roaring with laughter as he came up with a new nickname for Donald Trump after the president appeared to fall asleep in the Oval Office.
The comedian took aim at the Republican leader on his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, broadcasting from Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday, September 29. On the program, Kimmel branded the president "Nappy Don Trump" while also making fun of Trump's tight bondwith his assistant, Natalie Harp.
The 35-year-old aide is frequently spotted alongside the president, most recently accompanying Trump, 80, to the White House where he revealed plans for a new $15 billion steel plant in Iowa. Speculation has swirled around the nature of Harp's connection to the president, with her own brother characterizing her as "obsessed."

Kimmel opened the episode by quipping, "Anything is possible under President Don Fattingly," seemingly referencing Trump and baseball icon Don Mattingly.
He went on, "He has changed the way we look at every facet of our lives. Every day he explores new and uncharted territory. Today he did something I don't recall him ever doing before. Today, for the first time since taking office, Donald Trump told the truth."

The program then aired footage of Trump at a podium, stating, "I've done a sh---y job as president." Kimmel's crowd erupted in laughter and applause as the host remarked, "It's never too late to start being honest," reports the Irish Star.
The talk show host then turned his attention to Trump's gathering with technology leaders, joking, "Trump hosted all the top tech executives at the White House. He wanted to show them how good Natalie is at using the printer."

Harp has earned the nickname Trump's "human printer" due to her habit of shadowing the president with a portable printer, ready to produce hard copies of favorable news articles about him. Kimmel quipped, "The luncheon at the White House was, I guess a chance for the president to get to know these leaders of these powerful AI companies, and to get them excited about the awesome new name he came up with for it, SI."
A clip of Trump was then aired, in which he announced his intention to rebrand the technology as Super Intelligence, claiming, "So far, I mean, everybody likes it." Kimmel fired back sarcastically, "I'm sure the guy whose company name is OpenAI is very excited about this development."
The late-night host pressed on, "He's obsessed with changing the names of things. Ever since he had Don Jr, he has been in love with changing the names of things. The idea that our guardrails against AI are being erected by an addled 80-year-old man, it's like asking your grandpa to set up a WIFI router in your house. You just wouldn't do it."
Kimmel also took aim at the president's latest digital venture, saying, "Ahead of the meeting, Trump launched America.gov. This is a new, AI-powered government website designed to make it easier for Americans to access federal services, information, and images of the president as Doctor Jesus.

"A White House official called America.gov 'a new front door for the federal government,' and, you know, we need a new front door because Trump demolished the old front door to build his ballroom. Trump has been in office now for almost two years and he's still trying to blame everything he doesn't like on Joe Biden."
Footage aired from Trump at the gathering, where the president stated, "This announcement is only possible because of the pre-America policies of the Trump administration. Under Sleepy Joe Biden, you might have heard of him." Kimmel sarcastically shot back from the studio, "No, I haven't heard of him, you've never mentioned him before."
The host went on, "And then, only minutes after him invoking the name Sleepy Joe Biden, Nappy Don Trump drifted off to dreamland on live TV." Video of the incident was shown on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! program as the crowd applauded. Kimmel quipped, "Even Mitch McConnell was like, 'Bro, wake up.'"
The Jimmy Kimmel Live! Instagram page posted a video of the comedian's monologues, and fans were eating it up. "Thank goodness for our comedians, they make this whole crazy ride bearable," one person praised.
Another concurred, "I love Jimmy! . He's so funny," while someone else wrote, "Bless you Jimmy!" A fourth person posted, "Love you Jimmy always saying what I'm thinking and making me laugh."
Poking fun at Trump, one Instagram user commented, "Go to the light, Donny," while another quipped, "Wouldn't it be fun to blow up a paper bag and pop it." One person then asked, "Is there any footage anywhere of Biden dozing off? I have never seen any. I like dozy Don."
