Kate Hudson had her family by her side to support her at the 2026 Oscars — including her oldest, son Ryder.
On Sunday, Mar. 15, the actress, 46, walked the red carpet for the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars party and posed with several of her family members. Hudson, who was nominated for Best Actress for her role in the film Song Sung Blue, could be seen posing with her 22-year-old son Ryder before heading inside.
Hudson wore a black sparkly dress with a cutout on her upper stomach, revealing her abs. She posed next to her son Ryder, who opted for a black suit and a silk tie.

While on the red carpet, Ryder spoke with Entertainment Tonight and shared that he was happy to be there to support his mom.
“I’ve never been more proud of my mother,” Ryder told the outlet. “I have to say, I’ve seen my mom close up more than anybody…put in more work and more dedication and more time than I’ve ever seen in my life. And it’s just such a beautiful thing.”

Hudson is mom to three kids. She shares Ryder with ex Chris Robinson; son Bingham "Bing," 14, with ex Matt Belamy; and daughter Rani, 7, with fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

This past February, Ryder's dad, Robinson, who is the lead singer of the rock band The Black Crowes, spoke with PEOPLE and shared that his son wants to follow his parents into Hollywood.
“He's about to graduate from NYU this May. Very excited about that,” Robinson said.
“I think he's kind of leaning into maybe [pursuing] acting more, but he's a very, very good singer, and he's a really good guitar player, and he loves music. And, yeah, I just couldn't be more proud of him,” he added.
“I mean, I love him no matter what, but I've always been impressed with my son. He's a young man with great character. He's very charming, very smart, very handsome, and the world really is his for whatever he wants to do," explained Robinson. "But underneath it all, I'm a proud dad because he's a good dude in the world. And that's really all you can really ask for."
