Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt was touched by an act of kindness from her sister-in-law.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the bestselling author, 36, recalls the "classy" gesture Abby Champion, who is married to her brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger, recently made.
"I just got a handwritten thank-you note from my brother and his wife for doing a fun weekend together," Katherine says. "I was almost brought to tears at the fact that she took time to write the thank-you card. It's so classy."
"I've already loved her, but then I'm like, 'Ugh, damn. You wrote me a handwritten thank-you card?' It's little moments like that," she continues.
And while the handwritten card was technically from both her in-law and her younger sibling, Katherine still can't help but tease, "Let's be clear: it was not my brother doing it. It was his wife."

Katherine finds that thank-you cards are especially meaningful, given that they have always been a big part of her life.
"It's definitely so special to receive a card," the mom of four, who recently partnered with Hallmark, tells PEOPLE.
"My mom writes me a handwritten thank-you note at Christmas and for my birthday, and my sister always writes me a handwritten thank-you note too."
The men in her life similarly take the time to get sentimental with their card-giving, Katherine adds. "[I get cards from] my dad with his beautiful, flawless, cursive handwriting, and then Chris writes me a Valentine's Day card or a Mother's Day card," she explains.
"The fact that someone takes the time to do it is just so special," the BDA Baby podcast host continues.
