Kelly Ripa is breaking down the stigma surrounding getting work done in an unexpected area
In a new episode of her podcast featuring Lukas Gage, the daytime television star revealed what treatment she had done on her "ass cheeks"
She said that the minimal procedure had the opposite effect she wanted
Kelly Ripa is cracking the stigma around cosmetic enhancements once again.
In a new episode of her Let's Talk Off Camera podcast, the host and her guest Lukas Gage got to chatting about microneedling, and Ripa said she got it once in an NSFW area of her body.
Ripa, 55, confessed that she underwent the treatment, which is typically done on the face, on her "ass cheeks." Instead of giving her bum a youthful appearance, the microneedling didn't actually do anything because it looked "as old as before." However, "desperate times call for desperate measures."
When Gage complimented Ripa's glow further in the episode, she credited it to plastic surgery and warned the White Lotus star to never go near filler.
Last February, she opened up about getting Botox in her armpits and expressed interest in undergoing a mini facelift. There is one procedure that she's on the fence about, and that's a breast augmentation.
In a 2025 episode of the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast, Ripa said that she got many consultations for the operation. “We know that I'm flat-chested. It's not a mystery at this point. It's almost a point of pride," she explained, adding that nursing her children made her nipples "hang lower."

"Like, every time I hear about the new boob guy, I go, and I have a consult," she said. "And I’m like, ‘What? What will you do?’ And they always, like, say all the right things and do all the right things. And, you know, because our cell phones listen to us … It pops up. And I scroll through, like, so many horror stories of boob jobs.”
“It, like, talks me right out of it,” she added.

Despite her candor, there was once a time Ripa had to defend herself against plastic surgery accusations in 2018, the year she set fans straight when they decided to hit her with comments about how her appearance had changed over the years.
“I’m gonna tell you right now. No nose job, and no veneers. I wouldn’t be sleeping in a retainer every night if I had. You guys do know how to make a girl feel special.”
