Leah Kateb exclusively tells PEOPLE how she achieves her most glamorous looks

The Love Island alum also recently released her new fragrance, Pomegranate Princess, which she says has been “a long time in the making”
Leah Kateb is sharing her secret to always looking fabulous.
From the Love Island Villa to red carpets and Milan Fashion Week, the Love Island USA season 6 runner-up, 26, tells PEOPLE that the simple secret to all of her glamorous looks is giving herself “enough time” to get ready.
“Honestly, I always do my own glam, so probably just giving myself enough time,” Kateb says at Sephoria in Los Angeles. “But I always bring a powder puff with me. I love the Mac Studio Fix powder.”
“It's just the best for not looking oily, so I love that,” she adds. “That's probably my biggest hack. It blurs your face.”

After all, Kateb has always been the kind of person who “thrives” when she’s busy and on the go.
“I love having things to do, especially when it's something that I really love and enjoy,” she says. “I feel like it just makes it easier. It doesn't feel like work.”
Recently, the reality star has dedicated much of her time to launching the California-based fragrance brand Skylar into a new era as its chief creative officer and “re-founder.”

On March 21, Kateb even launched her new fragrance, Pomegranate Princess, which contains a fruity floral scent mixed with juicy pomegranate, ripe strawberry and delicate notes of whipped cream and shortcake.

“Oh my gosh, it's been a long time in the making,” she tells PEOPLE of the sweet fragrance. “Having Pomegranate Princess out is so fun, and I feel like since it's spring and it's about to be summer, it's just the perfect scent.”
As for why Kateb decided to take on the role of chief creative officer at Skylar? She previously told PEOPLE that, in addition to having always wanted a perfume brand, she has been using the brand's products for years.
The Beyond the Villa star even recalled sharing Skylar's Vanilla Sky fragrance with her fellow Islanders while on the dating competition show — and hearing her now-boyfriend Miguel Harichi tell her how good she smelled.
“I have been very involved with everything,” she said of her new role, noting that her duties stretch far beyond just promoting the brand. “There's so many different roles that I have and that I participate in, it's not just one thing.”
She added, "The way it all happened felt really serendipitous."
