Maralee Nichols is offering a rare peek at her son.
The model shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 13 as she recounted her weekend spent along her 4-year-old son Theo, whom she shares with Tristan Thompson, 34. In one photo, the mother-son duo could be seen at the zoo together, watching flamingos.
Other snaps show Theo on the beach, wearing a light-blue sweater and tan pants. Nichols also included a picture of a bed, where Theo was drinking out of a mug. "Weekend Adventures ⚡️," she wrote in her caption.

Nichols prefers to keep her life with Theo more private and last posted photos on Instagram of her son Theo in February 2024. Alongside pictures of Theo picking fruit, the mom wrote, "𝙷𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚢 💝."
Thompson confirmed that he fathered Theo in January 2022, but has not publicly discussed his son with Nichols since. The NBA player did share some photos of son Tatum, whom he shares with Khloé Kardashian, for the first time on Instagram in August 2023, calling his son a "reminder of what life represents to me."
“You have taught me every loss comes a lesson and you are my gift,” he wrote. “You are my reminder of all of God’s messages. You are the reason that I began my story.”
Thompson also addressed “mistakes” in the post. “The mistakes along the way are lessons, not failures. There is no expiration date to reinventing yourself. Tatum, your sweet soul reminds me of God’s grace. You are a future king my son and I am so blessed to be your DaDa!,” he concluded the post.

In February 2022, Nichols claimed in a statement to PEOPLE that Thompson has not taken any initiatives to be involved in his son's life.
"Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support their son. He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance," Nichols' representative said in a statement sent to PEOPLE. "In the future we hope that reporters covering this situation contact us to confirm any facts before publishing."
In June 2024, Nichols shared photos of her son Theo enjoying himself as he visited a splash park, running around and laughing.
Sharing the photos and video on her Instagram Stories, Theo could be seen having fun in the rare snaps that showed his face for the first time. "Thriving ☀️," Nichols wrote across the video.
Another photo of her little boy showed him doing his "favorite yoga pose."
