Prince Harry is expected to present evidence at next week's High Court trial, the final legal step in his series of lawsuits against U.K. tabloids.
The Duke of Sussex, 41, is expected to attend proceedings beginning on Monday, Jan. 19, and take the stand to present evidence on Thursday, Jan. 22, according to a draft trial timetable made public this week.
Harry joins several high-profile figures in the suit against Associated Newspapers (ANL) — the publisher of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday — including pop star Elton John, actress Elizabeth Hurley and Jude Law's ex-wife Sadie Frost.
The high-profile group has accused ANL of illegal information gathering, accusations the organization has "vigorously" denied, according to the BBC.
It will be the second time Prince Harry has given evidence in a court case in the past three years. In 2023, he became the first senior British royal to give evidence in 130 years, in a phone-hacking case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN).

In that testimony, Prince Harry said, "I've experienced hostility from the press since I was born," claiming tabloid journalists had labeled him a "playboy prince," a "thicko," a "failure" and a "dropout."
"Looking back on it now, such behavior on their part is utterly vile," he wrote, saying that MGN's publications had incited "hatred and harassment" upon his and wife Meghan Markle's private lives.
"How much more blood will stain their typing fingers before someone can put a stop to this madness?" he asked.
The Duke of Sussex ultimately won that case and received "substantial" damages from the Mirror Group after the lengthy process.
At the time, Harry’s lawyer, David Sherborne, read a statement on his behalf, which said, “Our mission continues. I believe in the positive change it will bring for all of us. It is the very reason why I started this, and why I will continue to see it through to the end."

Unlike the last time he was in the U.K., Prince Harry is not expected to see any members of his royal family during next week's stint in London.
In September 2025, Harry and his father, King Charles, 77, had their first in-person meeting in 18 months. The meeting lasted under an hour, with reps for both Harry and the King saying afterwards that the pair had tea together and that no other details would be shared.
This time, however, King Charles is set to be in Scotland when Harry arrives in London, with an engagement scheduled at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Jan. 19.
Prince William, 43, and Kate Middleton, 44, are also in Scotland next week for several joint engagements in Stirling. They will meet with Great Britain's Olympic and Paralympic curling teams ahead of the upcoming Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games, as well as visit Radical Weavers, a working handweaving studio and therapeutic charity.
