Rush has postponed two additional shows due to Geddy Lee's illness.

On Tuesday, June 30, the rock band shared a statement on Facebook revealing that two of their shows at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas would need to be postponed due to Lee's laryngitis and bronchitis diagnosis.

"We are deeply sorry to share that we must postpone our June 30 and July 2 shows," the band wrote. "Geddy has been diagnosed with laryngitis and bronchitis. After being evaluated by his doctors, he has been advised that he needs additional time to rest and recover before returning to the stage."

Rush noted that the postponement is "incredibly disappointing" for all of them.

"We know many of you have made travel plans and have been counting down the days to these shows," they wrote. "Please know this decision was not made lightly. After more than 50 years of touring, we've always believed that if we're going to step on stage, we owe you the very best performance we can give—and right now, that simply isn't possible."

Rush then revealed that their June 30 show has been rescheduled for July 11. Meanwhile, their July 2 concert has been rescheduled for July 13.

"All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. If you are unable to attend, refund information will be available from your original point of purchase," they continued, adding that they "appreciate your continued support while Geddy makes a full recovery."

News of Rush's latest postponements comes just one week after the band needed to move their Wednesday, June 24 show to Thursday, July 2 in Fort Worth, Texas "due to unforeseen travel and border-related delays" following their Mexico City tour dates.

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding given this circumstance out of our control," they wrote in a Facebook statement at the time. "Fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled date may request a refund through Ticketmaster if tickets were purchased there. For tickets purchased through other outlets, please contact your original point of purchase for assistance."

Rush kicked off its U.S. leg of the Fifty Something tour on June 7 in Inglewood, Calif. at the Kia Forum and will perform through December.

The band — which consists of Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson and drummer Anika Nilles, who replaced Neil Peart following his death in 2020 — will head out on an international tour in 2027.
