Scarlett Johansson made an appearance at the London Film Festival screening of Ray Gunn on October 10.

She wore a bold red strapless dress that revealed her floral back tattoos.

Scarlett Johansson’s latest look may be the perfect red carpet ensemble—but it also feels pretty personal. The actress appeared at a screening of the film Ray Gunn at the London Film Festival on October 10, where she wore a scarlet red dress that showed off her meaningful back tattoos.

The 41-year-old actress posed on the red carpet in a bright red strapless dress by Hermès. It featured a gathered bust and a sculptural ballooning midiskirt—as well as pockets! She paired the simple dress with matching red-hot strappy sandal heels and a gold pendant collar necklace. Meanwhile, she wore her blunt blonde bob in simple waves and a center part.

The rose-red dress showed off the actress’s large back tattoos—which incidentally feature a row of roses on a vine along with a sweet lamb. According to HuffPost, the tattoo is a nod to her daughter Rose Dauriac, whom she shares with ex-husband Romain Dauriac. She also shares son Cosmo with husband Colin Jost.

Back in 2013, Johansson was asked about how many tattoos she has. “I’ve lost count,” she replied. In addition to her back tattoo, she also has a four-leaf clover on her finger. “I got it on a trip to Ireland with a group of friends of mine,” she told Refinery29. She also has a ribcage horseshoe tattoo that says “Lucky You.”

Johansson stars in Ray Gunn as the voice of Venus Nova, a pop star and love interest to Rockwell’s Raymond “Ray” Gunn, a private detective.

“I really was so excited to work with Brad, I’m such a massive fan of his,” she said at the event of director Brad Bird, per Variety. “It was a dream of mine to collaborate with him on anything—I just wanted to work with him so badly.”
