Shanna Moakler said she âfelt like there were some lines that were crossedâ while co-parenting her and Travis Barkerâs kids, Alabama and Landon, with Kourtney Kardashian
She also claimed that she and the Kardashians star never had a conversation surrounding co-parenting or Kourtneyâs involvement in her childrenâs lives
âI donât think those women have those conversations with anybody,â she added of Kourtney's famous family
Shanna Moakler is claiming that Kourtney Kardashian âwasnât respectfulâ in how she approached their co-parenting relationship.
While speaking with Brittany Cartwright on her When Reality Hits podcast on Friday, Feb. 27, the Meet the Barkers alum, 50, said that she and Kourtney, 46, have never had a conversation about co-parenting her and Travis Barkerâs two children, Alabama Barker, 20, and Landon Barker, 22.
âI donât think those women have those conversations with anybody,â Shanna said of Kourtney â who shares 2-year-old son Rocky with the Blink-182 drummer, whom she married in 2022 â and the rest of her famous family. âAt one point in time, I felt it wasnât respectful. I felt at certain times it was kind of like, âWow, if I had your kids, I wouldnât be doing some of the s--- youâre doing with my kids.â â
âI would make sure that if I was watching her children, I would have just made sure that lines werenât crossed, and I felt like there were some lines that were crossed,â Shanna continued. âBut it is what it is. Itâs happened, and I think weâve all moved forward from it now.â

Although she emphasized that she wouldnât rule out the possibility of sitting down with Kourtney to have a conversation about their co-parenting preferences, Shanna admitted, âI donât talk to that family, I donât like that family.â
Even so, she acknowledged that the Kardashians are her own childrenâs family now, âwhether I like it or not.â
âHe married into that family, that is their stepmother,â she continued of Travis, 50, and Kourtney. âHer children are their stepbrothers and stepsisters. It really has nothing to do with me.â

âI could harbor a lot of animosity and anger from things that happened decades ago or, you know, as long as my kids are being treated well and theyâre good to my kids â which they are, theyâre good to my children and my children are happy â then thatâs all I can be grateful for,â Shanna said, going on to reference the famous familyâs popularity. âI try not to harbor too much attention on it. I mean, we canât really avoid it. Theyâre everywhere.â
Reps for Kourtney and Travis did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
In June 2024, Shanna addressed critics calling her a âdeadbeat momâ by making it clear that sheâs âalways had shared custodyâ of her and Travisâ kids.
"I think people think I was angry," she told PEOPLE of her feelings towards the Kardashians and her exâs involvement with them. "But I'm not angry. It wasn't anger. I think I get maybe frustrated, but I'm also from the East Coast and I swear a lot and I can be very direct sometimes. And I think some people take that as anger where I'm just very real where I'm like, 'F--- the family.' I don't have to f- --ing like the family. And it's like, there's people that don't like it."
