Wunmi Mosaku just walked the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet with a memorable plus one.

The *Sinners* star, who welcomed her first child months before starring in the blockbuster Ryan Coogler hit, has announced that she is pregnant with her second child. The actress debuted her baby bump by walking the awards show red carpet in a custom yellow Matthew Reisman gown.

She explained the significance of her dress color in a personal essay penned for *Vogue*, explaining that the outfit is symbolic of the Yoruba phrase, "*Iya ni WĆŗrĆ " *which means ā€œmother is golden."

She added, "I knew it was the right dress and the right moment."

The essay also saw Mosaku open up about her pregnancy and her decision to publicly share her "beautiful, personal, sacred news" with the world.**

"In my Nigerian culture, we don’t really announce this kind of news. It’s meant to be protected," she wrote. "Everything in me resists sharing it publicly—not because I’m not grateful or joyful, but because this feels like one of the few things that truly belongs to me."

Mosaku went on to acknowledge that as she'll be in the public eye throughout awards season to promote *Sinners* at various red carpet events, she wanted to get ahead of her body being scrutinized.

Truthfully, I’d love to just show up as me—a woman who happens to be pregnant—celebrating our powerful film and our amazing team," she continued. "So, I've decided to stop trying to camouflage my bump today at the Golden Globes, so me and baby can truly enjoy and embrace the moment fully together."
