South Park sparks fan frenzy as it breaks with tradition with new intro featuring a nude Trump

South Park ditched its original animated introduction for a new version that included a nude image of President Donald Trump, which bothered its fanbase.
During the Comedy Central broadcast of the South Park premiere on September 16, the raunchy comedy changed the lyrics to "South America," a reference to President Trump's renaming of Lake Ontario to Lake America. As the intro continued, President Trump, 80, also appeared as a nude caricature, rubbing a towel between his legs. The South Park also appeared standing next to a sign that said, "South America," instead of its original title.
The new intro sent social media into overdrive. Some viewers loved the nude Trump addition and the fact that South Park unveiled a new intro, however others thought the Trump naked joke was "tired." This came after a historian was "disturbed" by Trump's move to wipe out a region's Indigenous past.

One person said, "Praying this new South Park (America) isn't going to be about Trump. Tired hmor at this point. Bring the kids back."
Another person added, "Now watching the South Park season premiere. Not a fan of how Trump is in the theme song now."
However, a third praised, "New South Park was actually great, so classic feeling. Super excited about the rest of the season if it’s like this.

Despite the criticism, the show still had a supporter who shared, "New South Park episode was f--king awesome!"

As the episode continued, Stan's dad, Randy Marsh, decided to take a stand against electric bikes. Randy ended up putting a bomb in Kenny's e-bike, killing him once again on the program.
The episode ended with Randy making money from "South America Strong" t-shirts. Unfortunately, Stan never rode his e-bike again, due to the town's ban, and lost his best friend too.
On August 27, while speaking to reporters at the Oval Office on the same, President Trump said he and his team had filed all of the necessary paperwork to rename Lake Ontario.
The president mentioned that the name change to Lake America would take place "effective immediately."

"This is official," said the president to the press.
After signing the executive order, Trump continued, "We filed all the necessary papers, documents, notified all the people we have to notify."
Ahead of the press conferece, he took to his Truth Social platform, writing "The United States is giving serious consideration to changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America."

Trump pointed out that the United States doesn't "expect to be doing much business with Ontario any longer."
The name change came after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced retaliatory tariffs of up to 50 percent American products "dollar for dollar," which included whiskey and toilet paper.
Trump initially imposed 50 percent ariffs on a range of Canadian goods, a move that Canada rejected.
