Bravo is reminding fans that there's no escaping *Summer House* drama, even when you're *In the City*.
The network dropped the first trailer for its new *Summer House *spinoff Tuesday. The series follows Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Eoin Heavey, Andrea Denver, Lexi Sundin, Nick Barber, Yvonne Najor, Georgina Ferzil, Whitney Fransway, Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, and Katie Arundel as they navigate the biggest transitions of their lives away from the Hamptons and back in New York City: marriage, separation, parenthood, reinvention, and the reality of growing up without growing apart.
And while the newcomers have plenty of their own mess to share with viewers, there's no denying that fans will have on their detective caps as they try to decipher clues leading up to the franchise's real-life drama: the recently confirmed romance between Batula and *Summer House* costar West Wilson.
And of course, who else but Wilson himself makes a brief appearance in the *In the City *trailer, walking up to a beaming Batula who greets him with a "Hey cutie!"
"Hey Mandy," Wilson responds before wrapping her up in a tight hug.

The tail end of the trailer provides a glimpse at the events that led to the end of Batula's marriage to costar Kyle Cooke. "Who was in our apartment last night while I was asleep?" she asks him in one scene. At another point, she asks the Loverboy founder, "Do you know how many times you've cheated on me?"
Before their split was announced in January, Batula and Cooke's entire relationship played out in front of the *Summer House* cameras. The couple got engaged in 2018, but fans got a front-row seat to the hardships in their journey down the aisle — which Batula and Cooke never shied from sharing on screen. They rarely held back, whether they were getting into blow-up fights or showing vulnerable moments such as the reveal of Cooke's infidelity during the premiere of season 3, which aired in March 2019.

"We don't have a prenup," Batula tells Kyle in the final moments of the *In the City* trailer. "But if you come for me, I'll come for you."
A taken aback Cooke tells her "That would be a losing battle," to which Batula is heard saying, "Are you f---ing threatening me?" The clip ends with the camera focused on Cooke's face as he seemingly tries to hold back tears.
*In the City* will premiere over a month after Batula and Wilson posted a statement confirming their romance. Rumors of the relationship created ripples throughout the *Summer House *fandom and cast: Batula was best friends with Wilson's ex, Ciara Miller, and Wilson was close with Cooke, whom Batula married in 2021.
The news had fans particularly scandalized since the show's latest season — which the cast filmed last summer — featured multiple cast members wondering if Miller and Wilson were getting back together, with the latter being notably disturbed when approached by costar Jesse Solomon about possibly kissing Miller if given the chance. At one point in the season, Wilson even referred to Miller as "the love of my life."
It didn't help that both Wilson and Batula denied the rumors *days *before confirming them on social media.

Everyone from their fellow *Summer House* castmates to other Bravo stars and celebrities outside the reality TV sphere have had *a lot *to say about the relationship reveal. The new series will likely stir up more theories and discussion on the controversial romance, especially since Cooke previously shared that he doesn't "understand the timeline just yet" of the relationship between Batula and Wilson. He said it's made watching the current season of *Summer House* a "mental mindf---."
*In the City*'s May 19 premiere will probably keep Cooke's head spinning. The episode will air as a two-hour crossover event following the *Summer House* season 10 finale beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT. New episodes will stream next day on Peacock.
And, while Bravo hasn't announced an official date for the next *Summer House* reunion, ** has learned that it will film in late April and is slated to air by the end of May.
