Sydney Sweeney made an almost one-button white shirt the center of attention in her new American Eagle campaign images. Shared on X by fan account @sweeneydailyx with the caption “Sydney Sweeney is back campaigning with American Eagle!!,” the post shows the “Euphoria” star in soft, summery stills built around denim, sand, and easy light.

The white shirt is the hook. Worn loose by the “Housemaid” star and seemingly held by a single button, it gives the first look an undone edge over tiny blue shorts. A second image shifts to a white tank and baggy floral jeans. Sweeney is barefoot in the image, with a soft, wavy bob, and glowy makeup, keeping her look polished but relaxed. Fans reacted quickly. One wrote, “I love sydney.” Another commented, “Mother.”
The return marks her second run with the brand. The Summer 2026 push is titled “Syd for Short,” and American Eagle says the collection centers on jean shorts and Syd’s picks, including low-rise cuts and other relaxed denim pieces.
