Taylor Swift appears in a rare new vacation photo that sports journalist Charissa Thompson shared.
Travis Kelce publicly reacted to the post, subtly showing support for his fiancée.
Thompson spoke on her and Erin Andrews’s podcast about the Montana trip in July.
Taylor Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce kept their New Year’s celebrations off Instagram, but the singer made a rare appearance on the platform yesterday, courtesy of sports journalist Charissa Thompson’s year-end recap post. Thompson included a photo of herself, journalist Erin Andrews, and Swift together on a snow-tubing trip. Kelce had a subtle response to the tribute, liking the post.
Thompson and Andrews spoke on a July episode of their podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, about going on the Montana trip with the singer earlier in 2025. Thompson said that Swift was “everything I’d ever hoped and dreamed that she could have been and more.”
Thompson added that Swift and Kelce “are so happy and adorable and all things, so when the opportunity came about for all of us to spend time together and go on vacation, we were elated to just have time with them and in general see what she was all about.”
Kelce first shared a photo from the trip on his own Instagram that month. After he posted it, Thompson and Andrew said they felt comfortable discussing the vacation on their podcast.

Thompson explained, “Their lives are so public, so it was very important for Erin and I not to say anything, not because we don’t like to share stuff with you, but it’s important for us to let them dictate the narrative on things they do in their personal life.” She added of Swift, “She’s a dream and I adore her, and I’m so happy that they make each other happy.”
Swift and Kelce ultimately announced their engagement just a month later, at the end of August. They’ve managed to keep their holiday festivities largely private, with Swift last stepping out publicly for Kelce’s Christmas Day Kansas City Chiefs game.
Earlier this week, Ana Demmer, the girlfriend of Kelce’s teammate Creed Humphrey, shared a photo that included Swift at a Chiefs holiday party with the other WAGs, giving fans another rare look at the singer in her downtime.
