Taylor Swift made the whole place shimmer during her wedding to Travis Kelce.

On Friday, July 3, the "Love Story" singer tied the knot with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, in a ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler, a rep for Swift confirmed to PEOPLE. As she walked down the aisle, the singer opted for custom Christian Louboutin shoes alongside her Christian Dior Haute Couture gown.

It comes as no surprise that the Miss Americana star went all out with her arrangement of jewels on her big day — her engagement ring teased it all.

In the months following the pair's engagement announcement in August 2025, Swift was not shy about showing off her megawatt old mine cut diamond, which was custom designed through a collaboration between Kelce and Lubeck. At the time, Lubeck, who specializes in engraving, didn't share the details of Swift's sparkler, but experts predicted the ring to cost anywhere between $3.5 to $5 million and the stone to weigh anywhere from 8 or 9 to even 20 carats.

In an interview on U.K. radio show Heart Breakfastearlier that month, the Grammy winner shared the sweet backstory on how Kelce picked out the perfect ring — or as she called it, her "hardware upgrade."

"I had shown him a video, I just thought her stuff was so cool, I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out because when I saw the ring I [gasped] ... I was like, 'I know who made this, I know who made this,' and also, you listen to me!' " she said.

Before their wedding, Swift was also seen attending a friend's ceremony in Brooklyn, New York on May 16 wearing a suite of Elizabeth Taylor's statement jewels, which fans believed to have been purchased by Kelce.

She was spotted wearing matching chandelier earrings, a ring and bracelet all crafted from black opals and natural Australian crystal designed by Darlene De Sedle in 1999, which were previously seen on the Hollywood icon.

Taylor's opal jewelry was later sold as part of Christie's 2011 Collection of Elizabeth Taylor auction, and then sold for a second time by Fox Estate Jewelry via 1stDibs in late 2025. The sale happened “during Christmas time,” said jewelry dealer Adam Fox in an Instagram video. Fox told Page Six that it was bought by a sports agent at the time, making him assume it was a gift from Kelce to Swift.

Swift revealed in August 2025 that she and Kelce, who began dating in the summer of 2023, were engaged by sharing several photos from their flower-filled garden proposal on Instagram alongside the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”

Just over a month later, a source told PEOPLE that Swift was “very excited about planning the wedding" with Kelce.

"Being engaged hasn’t fully hit either of them yet," a second source added of the couple. "It’s still kind of strange and exciting and new to say ‘fiancé’ when they’re talking about each other, and they both kind of laugh every time they catch themselves saying it. They’ve just been taking it all in quietly."
