- Tyra Banks tells ** she doesn’t look back fondly on making *Halloween: Resurrection*.

- ā€œNo. Not even a little bit. Like, not even a tiny bit,ā€ Banks admits.

This spooky season, Tyra Banks’ eyes are *not* smizing in the direction of *Halloween: Resurrection*, some 25 years after the supermodel starred in the horror sequel.

ā€œNo,ā€ Banks, 52, tells ** when asked if she looks back fondly on making the 2002 movie. ā€œNot even a little bit. Like, not even a tiny bit.ā€

Banks, a trailblazing fashion icon and *America’s Next Top Model** *host, tells EW she took a small role in the eighth *Halloween* franchise film at the request of an agent who, at the time, wanted her to have a career similar to Josh Hartnett’s, as the popular actor saw a career boost after appearing in *Halloween H20* in 1998.

ā€œI was like, ā€˜I’m not going to do that.’ What is it going to do for my career? I’m a model, and I need to do things that are kind of different to get this acting career that I want,ā€ Banks recalls telling the agent, whom she didn’t identify. ā€œHe was like, ā€˜No, Josh Hartnett did *Halloween*, and look what he’s doing now!ā€™ā€

Banks says she was convinced to take the part after that conversation. The role ended up being a minor one in terms of screen time, though her character, Nora, played an integral part in the film’s plot.

The movie follows a group of teens attempting to evade the notorious killer Michael Myers inside his childhood home in Haddonfield, where a producer (Banks) documents their every move for a live internet streaming show.

ā€œSo I was like, yeah, okay, this is going to do it for me,ā€ Banks says. But, ā€œNot only did it not do anything for me, they cut the damn death scene.ā€

Banks’ character is indeed killed by Myers in the film, and viewers get a quick shot of her body — though the actual death scene isn’t shown. The deleted scene featuring Banks’ death is available to watch online in various ripped formats, though.

In the end, Banks lightheartedly tells EW she was ā€œpromised the career of Josh Hartnett, of an actor, and promised an iconic death scene that will last forever, and neither of them happened.ā€

Prior to *Halloween: Resurrection*, Banks’ first major film role came in John Singleton’s 1995 drama *Higher Learning*, and she also starred in the popular dramedy *Coyote Ugly* in 2000.

Also that year, she played a doll that comes to life in Disney’s *Life-Size *family film* *with Lindsay Lohan, and later returned for its sequel in 2018.

Outside of non-fiction roles on her self-titled, Emmy-winning *Tyra Banks Show* talk series, the aforementioned *ANTM*, and as a recurring judge on the latest *Project Runway *season, Banks recently acted on television in *Bel-Air,* a reimagined version of Will Smith’s *Fresh Prince of Bel-Air *sitcom* *— on which she also had a small role.
