At 18 years old, Yamal is one of the youngest players competing in this year's tournament, but he isn't just making moves in his professional life. He and García recently went public with their relationship when he brought her to FC Barcelona's end-of-season dinner in May 2026.

García is a Spanish influencer with a focus on fashion and beauty. One month after her and Yamal's couples debut, she began sharing photos of her supporting him at the 2026 World Cup.

García is an influencer based in Seville, Spain. She has nearly 1 million followers on TikTok and roughly 600,000 followers on Instagram.

She regularly posts selfies, outfit photos and fashion and beauty tips.

After arriving in the U.S. for the World Cup, García shared one of her match day looks that included a jersey with Yamal's name and number printed on the back. "Vamos mi amorrrr," she wrote in the accompanying caption.

She loves to travel but has a fear of flying

García's fear of flying didn't stop her from getting on a plane to support Yamal at the World Cup. In an interview with Woman Madame Figaro, the influencer explained that she is working on facing her fears and has several trips planned that involve air travel.

"I love traveling, but I'm terrified of flying … The two things don't really go together," she told the publication. "I'm facing my fears little by little. I have plenty of trips planned for this summer — both within Spain and abroad — that you'll get to see."

Yamal and García first stepped out at a celebratory dinner for FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona’s 2025-2026 season ended with the team winning not one but three trophies — in addition to finishing at the top of their league, La Liga, they also won the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de España.

When FC Barcelona celebrated with a dinner in May 2026, Yamal brought García as his date.

The pair even posed for a photograph together that was posted on FC Barcelona’s official Instagram account. "A special season deserves a special night 🏆🏆✨," the football club wrote in its caption.

She supported Yamal at the 2026 World Cup

Yamal's World Cup debut was made all the more special with García cheering him on from the sidelines.

The athlete suffered a hamstring injury prior to the World Cup and played as a substitute for Spain's first game of the tournament, which ended in a 0-0 draw. In their game against Saudi Arabia, however, Yamal started, and scored his first World Cup goal just 10 minutes in.

García quickly shared her support of Yamal on social media in a since-expired Instagram Story, per Complex.

"The best player in the world is at 2,000,000%, and he's also in good hands," she wrote alongside a heart emoji.

Yamal subsequently dedicated the goal to "my mother, my girlfriend, to my friends and everyone back at home in Mataró," according to ESPN.
