Move over, Avengers: Endgame, there's a new big dog -- or spider -- in town. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe entry, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, just set a brand new record at the box office, breaking one set back in 2019 by the massive capstone to the Infinity Saga.
According to Variety, Brand New Day brought in $72 million just for the Thursday preview showings, making it the biggest ever. For comparison, Endgame took in an impressive $60 million domestically before the official release date. Brand New Day is the fourth solo Spidey movie for Tom Holland, and the first since Spider-Man: No Way Home released in 2021.
